Digis Internet is does a poor job

So I have had Digis internet for over six months now. I am paying for their higher package which boasts up to 7 Mbps - "up to" that's my favorite phrase. What drives me crazy - actually there are a few things - is that in the evening when I would like to actually have a decent speed (between 5 and 10 pm seems like) I have terrible service. I have done speed tests using the Digis speed test page - which, by the way, no longer shows the test being available on the page (speedtest.digis.net) - an everytime I seem to get a download speed of around 1.2 Mbps and an upload speed of about 1 Mbps. Now I know that there are many factors that can affect the speed but come on - I am getting speeds that the cheaper plan should provide... I don't understand how a company can offer an "up to" speed and then rarely (i guess after midnight they would be) actually be at that speed.

Then - yes there is more - when I call customer service - or I should say the Digis answering machine, I don't get to talk to anyone and they will return my call in the right order. Well they must be pretty busy because the message I left 3 weeks ago has not yet been returned - and the one from 2 months ago as well as the one from 3 months ago...

I don't know what anyone person can do but man it just bothers me that a company can be so unresponsive and continue to not live up to what they should be offering. My hope is that we get enough comments that Digis will take notice. Leave a comment - let everyone know what your Digis Experience has been like - and if you are from Digis and would care to comment - feel free, we'd love to see what the excuse is.
